2012 Clos Pegase Rose’

2g

I hope you all had a very happy Easter.  We spent our holiday celebrating that Saturday night along with our kids at our friends house.  Jen had been fighting cervical cancer and are happy to say she was recently told that she is “golden” and cancer free!  It was fun to see “the old Jen” back as her spirits were great and she was “quirky” like before she became ill.  On Easter Sunday our kids each had obligations with their significant other family’s so Chris and I spent the day taking care of some outdoor spring cleaning projects in the garage and yard.  By 4:00 pm we had enough and it was time to think about dinner and having a glass of wine.  The weather was beautiful!  Temps were in the low 70’s and clear.  It felt hot, but after last winter I cannot complain about any heat!

Smell
The Rose was aromatic and smelled young and fruity.  I noted fresh strawberry and raspberry.

Taste
It was dry, light bodied and the acidity was lively.  The flavor intensity was medium and I had light mid-palate flavors with a medium finish.

abv:  14.1%

How much: $22.00

I rated the 2012 Clos Pegase Rose’ two glasses.

Life is too short to drink crappy wine!
