2014 Jordan Wine Estate The Outlier white wine

4g

We were fortunate enough to be able to bring 24 bottles of wine from South Africa this year.  Some of our friends asked how did you do that?  I thought you could only bring back a few bottles through customs?  Well, that is mostly true.  You have two options, do not declare the wine or declare the bottles and potentially pay a duty.  We have brought many cases of wine from many parts of the world.  We always declare and have never had to pay a duty.

The last Thursday in Stellenbosch we spent the afternoon visiting a couple of tasting rooms.  Jordan Wine Estate was one.  The estate is beautiful.  At the facility, they have a restaurant, bakery, suites, and conference rooms.  You can think of them as a one-stop facility.  Eat, drink, be merry.  No worries about driving, stay with us.

Chris and I enjoyed the Outlier.  The barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc added to the mouthfeel (making it more full-bodied) of the wine. I rated the 2014 Jordan Wine Estate The Outlier white wine four glasses.

Life is too short to drink crappy wine.  Expand your palate and keep trying.
